The Léonore database gives access to the names of persons named or promoted in the Order of the Legion of Honor since 1802 and who died before 1977. The original files are kept in the National Archives or at the Grand Chancery of the Legion d 'honor. In total, more than 366,000 people.
For each person whose record has been kept, a note indicates the number of the cardboard where the file is located, the place where this cardboard is kept and the summary biographical information (first name, last name , sex, date and place of birth).
